The Spanish driver of the Suzuki Ecstar team, Joan Mir, secured the championship before the final race of the 2020 MotoGP World Championship.
The 13th competition of the season in the most important organization of motorcycle racing was held over 27 laps on the 4-kilometer Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain.
Franco Morbidelli of Petronas Yamaha won the race he started from pole position and achieved his third MotoGP victory in his career.
