Racing performance was not what they expected in Ferrari, which looked better than the first two races. Vettel and Leclerc, who started the race from 5th and 6th place, could not compete with the leaders. Vettel finished in sixth place. Leclerc, on the other hand, lost a lot of time and regressed when he switched to soft tires after rain tires, unlike his rivals, as a result of his tires running out early and he could not pace because he was waiting for rain. Leclerc did not score 11th.
Racing Point, which blew like a storm in the rankings, could not get the desired result once again. Sergio Perez, who started the race from fourth place, broke off from the front group after regressing to seventh at the launch and could only be seventh. Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo came in eighth. The Haas team gambled and called both pilots to pits on the formation lap and switched to dry tires. When the whole grid pits in 3-4 laps, the Haas pilots managed to move up to 3rd and 4th place. However, when the Haas car could not afford, both pilots could not avoid a decline. Although Kevin Magnussen finished in ninth place, he came in 10th at the end of the race as a result of a time penalty for the Formation lap rule violation. Carlos Sainz, on the other hand, completed the top 10.
