Starting the race in the “pole” position, Hamilton passed the finish line in the first place in the fight he led from the beginning to the top and reached the 5th place of the season and 89th of his career.

Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas took second place, 8.4 seconds behind teammate Hamilton, while Red Bull-Honda’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen took third place, 15.4 seconds behind the leader.
The 8th race of the season, the Italian Grand Prix, will be held on September 6th.
